You might be saying, "Dang! Diggers got a GREEN page!"

And I would reply, "YES I do! But read it first, draw your opinion second!"

One thing I think everyone can agree on is that in the big scheme of things, we as people are only temporary stewards of this world we live on, a stewardship inherited from those who went before, and to be passed on to those that will follow.

When I was young, my Gramps used to say that one day "Man's going to s_ _t himself off the face of the earth." I didn't really understand it then, thought he was just being funny. Now that I'm older, and looking around at the land we live on, air that we breathe, & the water that we drink, I can see what he was getting at.

I advocate and encourage anyone to 'go green' to the extent that's possible and practical for your situation. No I'm not a hardcore to the extreme activist for the cause, and to make it perfectly clear, I DO NOT CONDONE any sort of violence, destruction of property, or radical actions of any kind, but at the same time I DO NOT CONDONE any sort of action, practice or activity that in my opinion leads to the detriment or destruction of my world or my surroundings. Common Sense tells me we didn't get in this situation overnight, and we are certainly not getting out of it overnight. But folks I think we have a problem on the horizon, maybe not for me, maybe not for my kids, or their kids, or their kids, but eventually. We can send men to the moon & beyond for heavens sake, we ought to be able to come up with solutions for here at home! But way I figure it I can't rely solely on the politicians, our government or all the countries of the world getting together to take care of it. I as an individual have to step up to the plate and take some responsibility, atleast for my own actions.

Today's world the motto seems to be either

"THEY DON'T, SO I WON"T", or "I DO, SO THEY SHOULD TO."

If you don't think there is a problem, or going to be one down the road, I'm not going to try and convince you otherwise, or argue about it, or point my finger or cite a bunch of facts or figures in hopes of MAKING you see it my way, there is enough of that out there already on both sides of this fence. I myself am glad to see atleast the world is now, more than ever, aware of this debate! My motto is a man's responsible for his own actions, and I conduct myself accordingly. Any 'go-green' ads or links I place on my site, or in my books, or anywhere else are from individuals, groups or organizations that I believe would be beneficial to like minded people, looking for a sensible way to do your part.

Thing is, there are a zillion ways each & every one of us can do our own little part to make this world a cleaner, healthier place that don't cost a single dime!
